FEED YARD
MP Reeve Started the Feed yard in 1962 as the ranch land was converted to farm land with the addition of center pivot sprinklers. The cattle would be used and are still used to consume the production of the farm.
Today our private feed yard holds around 46,000 head of cattle. A supplement of steamed flaked corn, distillers byproduct, triticale silage, and a supplement of vitamins and minerals, make up a ration that is fed to the cattle.
